Born Silvia Tomacalova on February 12, 1976, in the Czech Republic. After school, she studied management for two years at an institute in Brno. Later she was employed as a hotel manager in Zlin. From there she moved on to a private company, where she worked as an accountant and marketing coordinator. Financially, Silvia wasn't too well off, so she started a career in modeling. Silvia quickly went from underwear shows to nude pictures, changing her name to Sylvia Saint. Her boyfriend took her to a casting session for an American porn production, and soon Sylvia found herself in Frank Thring's "Lee Nover: Search for the perfect breasts". After some layouts in several major mens magazines, Sylvia hit the jackpot in 1996, when she became a "Penthouse Pet" in the Czech Penthouse magazine. Two years later, she was a "Pet" in the American issue of Penthouse, too. After a highly successful five year career in the adult industry with over 60 films to her credit, Sylvia counts among the most successful European performers ever. On March 19, 2001, her manager disclosed that Sylvia was pregnant and that she was going to marry the man of her dreams (a Czech business man) that year and that she will leave the adult industry for good. True to her word, she did.
